It's not!
Unfortunately, we do not offer letter engraving. However, you can still customize your bible with embossed or debossed designs.
The black and brown cowhides and red goatskin tend to emboss better, whereas the waxed goatskins tend to deboss better. If you are unsure, do not hesitate to ask!

If your existing cover is leather and in good quality, it can likely be saved by adding a new inside material to strengthen the binding.
Unfortunately, we do not offer foil gilt services as it requires an intensive process to ensure a long-lasting product (this is best done in the factory). However, if you have a new(er) bible with good gilt, art gilt (page dying) is a great option!
The best way to ensure your bible leather stays in good condition is by... reading it! The natural oils from your hands help to condition leather, which is one of the reasons it was historically used to cover books. If you find that your bible cover needs a little help, you can use a small amount of neatsfoot oil every six months.
